Melete is an open-source personal agent positioned as an alternative to Dots & Muse, built on Hermes. It runs on your hardware, in any sandbox, with any model, and ships with its own computer and built-in memory — following up on replies, chasing what you're owed, and preparing work while you sleep. Control features: it asks before anything important goes out, every action leaves a receipt, and you can inspect and correct what it has learned. Example: it can orchestrate other agents to prep a fix after a Slack bug report.
