Per @typesfast, 8% of air freight entering the US from Asia consists of data center components. Chartered volume alone accounts for 30 fully loaded freighters per day, with additional shipments moving in less-than-plane-load quantities.
The figure illustrates the scale of AI infrastructure buildout: data center hardware — GPU servers, power, cooling — has become one of the dominant transpacific air cargo categories.
