NeuralFieldManifold accepted at NeurIPS 2026, extending neural manifolds to LFP/EEG

NeuralFieldManifold has been accepted at NeurIPS 2026. Neural manifold methods have reshaped how neuroscientists think about population activity, but nearly all of that work centered on spikes. This work extends the framework to subthreshold brain activity such as LFP and EEG, validated against real brain data.
The core team includes KasraFlh, NovakHChen and RudramaniSingha, with contributions from eunjikkong, Gergely Turi and Attila Losonczy on grounding the formulation in real data. Camera-ready and tutorials are coming soon, with a presentation planned at NeurIPS 2026 in Atlanta.
