Cloudflare Launches cf, an Agentic CLI Covering Its Entire API as Agent Usage Hits 48%

Cloudflare launched cf, a new agentic CLI covering every Cloudflare API (install: npm i -g cf). Agent usage of Wrangler grew from 25% in March 2026 to 48% last week; agents use nearly 2x more distinct commands daily. cf adds built-in command search, JSON-default output tuned for context savings, a cloudflare.config.ts format with TypeScript/LSP safety, and Vite as default dev server. Wrangler only covers 280 of thousands of API operations — the lesson: build good APIs and expose them in every format agents expect.
