xAI has launched Grok Bot (available for macOS): AI teammates you can delegate real work to. Key capabilities:
- Uses your tools: after a one-time login, it operates apps and websites like a human, including hard-to-automate ones (e.g. signing into Zendesk to work the support queue).
- Teach by demonstration: have a Bot watch you run a workflow once; it saves it as a routine and runs it autonomously next time.
- Parallel multi-Bot collaboration: create Bots for sales outbound, talent scouting, expense management, bug reproduction, chief of staff and more; they hand work to each other in a shared thread while you approve only when needed.
- Memory and learning: Bots keep context on how you work and get smarter over time, e.g. remembering that a client only signs annual contracts and who approves them.
