Agents can now buy headless browsers on the fly via Stripe-Tempo's MPP protocol

Kernel now lets AI agents autonomously pay for browser sessions via MPP (Machine Payments Protocol), an open protocol co-authored by Stripe and Tempo. Flow: the agent requests a browser, receives an HTTP 402 challenge, approves payment through Stripe's Link CLI with a shared payment token, then connects over CDP — no Kernel account or API key needed. Pricing is $0.50 for a 30-minute stealth headful browser; card-only for now, stablecoins not supported. An early real-world deployment of machine-to-machine payments where agents decide at runtime when to buy compute.
