A Reddit consultant argues most AI agency projects fail within months—not because of the model, but because agents run on messy client data: free-text spreadsheets, duplicate customer records, stale CRMs. He calls much of 'AI automation' an unpaid data-cleanup project with a chatbot on top, and says lasting agencies will charge for fixing data first and treat the agent as the easy part.
