Compound Engineering 3.30 ships: skill prose tweaks curb model overbuilding
kieranklaassen · x · 2026-09-30
Every's Compound Engineering coding-agent skill set hits v3.30 with upgraded core skills (ce-brainstorm, ce-plan, ce-work, ce-doc-review, ce-code-review). The team cut down overbuilding in the latest models by rewriting skill prose and deleting entire instruction sets no longer needed to steer agents — users just update the plugin, with zero changes to prompts or invocation. The methodology runs a six-step loop (brainstorm, plan, work, simplify, review, compound), where the compound step writes learnings to docs/solutions/ so future runs start ahead. It installs in two commands on Claude Code and also supports Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Cline, and more.
