Elon Musk argues AI is becoming essential not just for work and productivity but for everyday life, potentially even saving lives. He says AI helps people organize their lives and do better at their jobs, and that he has heard many anecdotes of AI catching medical issues doctors missed — patients submitting X-rays or MRIs to AI and getting the correct diagnosis when a doctor had been wrong, cases where they otherwise would have died.
