Research from jennajrussell's team (presenting at COLM next week, with a TADA talk Monday) finds that even when stylistic cues like word choice and sentence structure are removed by humanizing, AI fiction is still detectable through narrative choices alone — showing that AI writing's fingerprint runs deeper than surface style.
