DevDay underwhelmed: 'could have been an email' amid overhyped expectations

A user argues OpenAI's DevDay releases underwhelmed, largely because Sam et al overhyped them as something crazy new.
The actual lineup: a Grok Bot-like assistant (well received), a Notion clone that "got 2 minutes" and offers little beyond the clone, GPT-6.1 Sol, and a bunch of things that already existed. "It could have been an email." He adds that OpenAI structures its keynote to echo Jobs-era Apple events but lacks Jobs' showcraft.
