Invoice agent that learns: Hindsight memory layer for AP exceptions

The author built an accounts-payable system around one idea: invoice exceptions shouldn't be solved from scratch each time. On a mismatch, the system retrieves how similar cases were handled, presents that context to a human reviewer who makes the final call, then stores the decision as memory for future recall — a flow of Exception → Recall → Context → Human decision → Memory. Hindsight serves as the memory layer, with the LLM restricted to explaining retrieved context rather than deciding. Full implementation, architecture, and retrieval approach documented.
