Codex CLI finally ships standard features every other CLI already had, dev says it's now usable

Developer willcb notes that Codex CLI "used to be unusable and now looks probably usable." The most exciting part, he adds, is that the Codex CLI now has all the standard features every other CLI already has but OpenAI never shipped for some reason.
