Vishal Maini, former co-lead of AGI Deployment Strategy at DeepMind, says only 5 of 12 interviews in a recent series came from current employees, while 1,386 current frontier lab employees (7%) signed the "Pacing the Frontier" letter — a number he says likely understates safety concern inside the labs.
