Ethan Mollick briefly reviewed OpenAI's persistent agent Dots, calling it good and part of the rapidly-expanding "Clawlike" category alongside Muse and Grokbot. Using a capable model with access to your data as an assistant and second opinion, he says, is remarkably useful.
He notes a natural analog in teams: a persistent entity with a job that you can delegate to through existing communication tools like Slack. He expects more Clawlikes soon, though he doesn't think they are the final form of this type of AI.
