OpenAI lets users bring their ChatGPT subscription into third-party apps

At DevDay, OpenAI announced "Bring Your ChatGPT Subscription Anywhere": users can use their existing ChatGPT subscription inside third-party apps. Dan Shipper calls it extremely important for app makers — developers can reach paying ChatGPT users without building their own subscription stacks — something he has been pushing for a while.
