A researcher with a cognitive neuroscience background says he used Claude and ChatGPT as competing research assistants during paternity leave, finally pushing forward old theory/computational neuroscience ideas he never had time for in academia.
Now he's unsure where to share the results — Twitter, a blog, or publication — with no one nearby for feedback and no desire to add to the 'resultslop' of conferences and preprints.
