Claude Sonnet builds a Three.js night aquarium in under 60 minutes — no assets, all code
prasenx · x · 2026-09-30
Developer prasenx showed off a browser-based 3D night aquarium built by Claude Sonnet in under 60 minutes, now open-sourced as aquarium-night on GitHub.
Built on Three.js (r180): fourteen fish school and graze, scattering when you tap the glass. Water, caustics, sand, plants, fish skins — even the filter hum and glass-tap sounds — are all generated in code at load time, with no image, model, or audio files in the repo. Runs on desktop and phones, with mobile stepping down render quality when frames lag.
