Workera founder Kian Katan announced the AI skills-measurement startup has been acquired by Pearson. Founded six years ago out of a Stanford teaching question — can we measure skills as precisely as great teachers know their students? — Workera pioneered AI-native skills intelligence, agent-led multimodal assessments and ambient skill measurement, with benchmarks across organizations and roles. With chairman Andrew Ng's backing, the deal pairs its tech with Pearson's global scale as AI reshapes jobs.
