InstaCloud, a Y Combinator-backed "agent-native" serverless cloud, is built from the ground up for AI agents to provision and operate infrastructure directly.
- Setup: One command (npx -y insta@latest setup agent) connects Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, or Kiro via a CLI, an MCP server, and agent skills.
- Agent-run infra: Once connected, the agent can deploy its own repo, add Postgres or storage, and clone the environment per task. Agents manage provisioning to production, with humans reviewing and approving critical changes through an approval flow.
- Serverless compute: No machine specs needed—scales with demand and down to zero when idle, pay only for actual usage.
- Pricing and open source: Free plan includes $10 of monthly usage credit, Pro starts at $20/month, and an Apache 2.0-licensed runtime is available for self-hosting.
