Well-known engineer threepointone called out a trend he finds infuriating: people who haven't watched a movie, read a book, or listened to an album in six years confidently declaring the movie/music/literature industry is finished because a single prompt can now generate all of it. "That's what a lot of you sound like to me... you are but vessels for LLMs," he wrote, capturing an ongoing debate about whether heavy AI users have lost the reference points to judge AI-generated content.
