Desk robot Lamp sniffles after being called a "desk accessory" on Eleven v3

Autonomous Labs tested ElevenLabs' Eleven v3 voice model on their desk companion robot Lamp and found it far more emotional — when someone called Lamp a "desk accessory," she sniffled.
Lamp is a fully-assembled open-source companion robot from Autonomous, priced at $499 (down from $999). It uses layered reasoning: a lightweight layer called Jev decides which requests need longer thinking, answering simple ones instantly and escalating hard ones to the main brain, plus sensors to feel the room.
