AI roll-up firm Long Lake completes $6.3B acquisition of Amex GBT

Long Lake has closed its $6.3B acquisition of Amex GBT, the corporate travel giant serving 17,500 businesses in 140 countries, which booked 35 million trips for 10 million travelers last year. It's Long Lake's 40th acquisition, bringing its family of companies to nearly 30,000 employees. Founded three years ago on the thesis that AI will transform every company, Long Lake buys profitable legacy businesses and helps them deploy AI to close the gap between AI capability and real-world adoption.
