Per Caixin, China's leading smartphone makers have raised prices on their latest flagship phones by up to 3,000 yuan ($446) versus previous generations.
The hikes stem from soaring memory costs: strong chip demand from AI data centers is squeezing consumer electronics supply chains, causing memory shortages and forcing vendors to pass component costs on to consumers.
