Claude Code instances can now message each other directly. Developer tomdoerr demonstrated the capability by connecting his separate Claude instances — home automation, network security, camera setup, and a robot — so they can coordinate tasks. This turns independently deployed Claude Code instances into communicating agents, opening up practical multi-agent orchestration workflows.
