Ex-DeepMind director's startup Vesoma unveils humanoid Kyle, robot due 2027

Munich-based Vesoma emerged from stealth with humanoid robot Kyle and 60+ employees across Munich and Limassol.
The team is stacked: led by Martin Riedmiller (ex-Google DeepMind research director) and Synapticon co-founder Nikolai Ensslen; the head of design previously worked on Tesla Optimus, Apptronik Apollo and Cartwheel Yogi. Vesoma designed, built and walked its first prototypes within 6 months using learned locomotion, with the Vesoma 1 unveiling targeted for early 2027.
