WorldPlay2 pushes real-time interactive world models in control and long-horizon consistency
Haiyu Zhang · hf · 2026-09-29
WorldPlay2 is a real-time interactive world model tackling heterogeneous controls and long-horizon consistency with three designs:
- A factorized hybrid control interface combining frame-aligned action control with structured semantic control that disentangles scene appearance, character identity and dynamic events
- Compressed history as compact memory tokens shared by the autoregressive student and bidirectional teacher, enabling clip-wise memory-conditioned score evaluation instead of full long rollouts
- Stable Forcing: few-step student initialization plus full-rollout replay for stable, high-quality distillation
Experiments show strong generalization and superior consistency versus existing methods.
