OpenAI introduced workspace agents in ChatGPT: a Codex-powered layer of shared, always-on agents designed to run long-running team workflows rather than answer one-off prompts. Use cases cited include software request triage, weekly reporting, lead outreach, product feedback routing, and vendor risk reviews.
