Reuters reviewed Anthropic's IPO prospectus:
- Revenue grew 12-fold; compute spending nearly tripled from $2.5B in 2024 to $7.33B, exceeding the $4.6B booked as revenue and accounting for over half of $12.65B in operating expenses.
- Operating loss widened to $8.06B from $2.98B; most of the $42B net loss reflects a $34B charge from revaluing financing that could convert into shares, not actual operating spend.
- Preliminary Q2 revenue topped $11.5B, more than double all of 2025, with adjusted operating income positive.
- On this trajectory the IPO could value Anthropic above $2T, more than double the $965B post-money valuation from its May round.
