- Peter Steinberger, creator of OpenClaw, has open-sourced his full agent setup (MIT, 6.6k stars), built around a single folder every agent on his machines reads.
- One AGENTS.MD holds all his rules and a script symlinks it into /.claude/CLAUDE.md and /.codex/AGENTS.md, so Claude Code and Codex always follow identical instructions. Every repo gets one line: "READ /Projects/agent-scripts/AGENTS.MD BEFORE ANYTHING" — change a rule once and every project picks it up.
- 69 skills live in one place, each with a short description agents use to decide what to load, synced via scripts/sync-skills. Fork it and swap in your own rules; his file contains personal hosts and accounts, so replace them.
