exe.dev launches VM pools, drops per-seat pricing for compute-based billing

exe.dev, a cloud VM platform aimed at AI agent workloads, launched 'pools' — a new primitive where VMs in a region share a fixed resource allocation, enabling production/staging stacks and predictable pricing.
New plans: Personal starts at $15/month (2 vCPU / 4 GB pool, up to 50 VMs), scaling to 16 vCPU / 32 GB for $155/month. The Work plan drops per-seat pricing in favor of paying for compute. The company also introduced hourly-billed standalone sandbox VMs for disposable agent environments.
