Reddit users report ChatGPT no longer lets you view previous prompt edits. The old flow—edit a prompt, regenerate, compare branches, jump back with arrows—worked like a save system for long writing/coding chats; now every variation apparently needs a new chat, and users can't tell if it's a bug, an A/B test, or a deliberate redesign.
