One Image to a Walkable World: Hyper3D + GPT-6 Rebuilds Scenes in Three.js
Scobleizer · x · 2026-09-29
A developer demoed a full pipeline that turns a single image into an interactive 3D world: img2threejs analyzes the layout of the house, trees, rocks and character; Hyper3D supplies 3D reference assets; GPT-6 runs the pipeline and rebuilds the scene in Three.js with depth, lighting and interactions.
It goes beyond animating a picture: you can walk in the snow and leave footprints, open gates, switch day to night, or place a campfire — escaping the camera angle and moment frozen in the original photo.
