Stripe is building verification for AI agent web requests and user consent

Stripe's Jeff Weinstein lists increasingly pressing questions from website owners:
- Should they allow or block agent web requests?
- Is it a verified agent, acting on behalf of a verified human?
- How can sites get permission to ask for the user's email?
Weinstein says Stripe is building a solution and invites outreach — a signal the payments giant is moving into agentic commerce infrastructure.
