Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 5.5: 30%+ faster than Sonnet 5, up to 30% cheaper per task at the same $2/$10 per million token pricing, scoring 70.6% on Terminal-Bench 4.0 versus Sonnet 5's 10.3%. It's also the first Sonnet to launch with cyber safeguards comparable to Opus 5's.
