ClaudeCodeLog publishes the full changelog for Claude Code CLI 2.1.284, including Sonnet 5.5 pricing: claude-sonnet-5-5 is now the default Sonnet model on the Anthropic API with a 1M context window, $2/$10 per Mtok input/output and $0.20/Mtok cache reads.
Other updates:
- Auto mode gains a "allow once, ask again next time" option for reads outside the working directory
- /usage and the status line now show dollar spend against gateway limits (e.g. "$271.40 / $500.00 spent this month"), with usedusd, limitusd and period fields
- Effort slider keybindings are now rebindable via keybindings.; new /rate-limit-options command
