Claude Code tracker ClaudeCodeLog reports the release of CLI 2.1.284 with roughly 100 changes. Highlights:
- Default Sonnet model switched to Claude Sonnet 5.5 with a 1M context window and updated pricing
- Auto mode gains a "Yes, but ask again next time" option for reads outside the working directory—one-time approval with continued prompting for later reads
- Damaged streams no longer surface 'undefined' or raw JSON parse errors; responses are retried for reliability
