AI Shopping Agent Instinct Partners with Shopify for In-Chat Discovery and Checkout

AI personal shopping agent Instinct announced a partnership with Shopify. According to the company, 35% of its users already use Instinct for personal shopping.
With the integration, Instinct can search Shopify's merchant network for live pricing, sizes and availability, then set up orders users can check out with Shop Pay — combining product discovery, purchase, and order updates into a single conversation. The agent retains context like your sizes, preferred brands, and purchase/return history, and understands situational details such as who a gift is for and when it must arrive.
It's a notable sign of AI agents moving deeper into e-commerce transactions: from recommendations to full-service buying.
