Hand-sized 6-axis robot arm hits sub-micrometer precision for semiconductor work

Designer Olek Stepanenko unveiled a 6-axis industrial robot arm roughly the size of a human hand, built for microelectronics, semiconductors, photonics, medical devices and lab automation. Preliminary specs: repeatability better than 0.001 mm, 250 g payload, 250 mm reach, 1,500 g mass, with fully custom electronics, software and calibration algorithms.
