Developer: I'll keep my son off social media, but not away from video games

Developer Michal Malewicz says after two days playing Control Resonant he's struck by how rare games with genuine love, lore and storytelling have become. He'll keep his son away from social media, but not from video games.
His caveat: modern graphical fidelity makes classics like Quake, Half-Life 2 and SOMA hard to go back to, meaning people born now are less receptive to the great storytelling of the past and must hunt rare gems amid AAA slop and microtransactions.
