Base44 Launches Base Code to Let Teams Collaborate on Existing Codebases with AI Agents

No-code platform Base44 has launched Base Code, which opens an existing codebase to the whole team:
- Team members get a shared cloud environment where anyone can describe a change; AI automatically creates an isolated branch, runs it, and provides a live preview
- Engineering stays in control: every change lands as a pull request for review, with demo features like an amber "needs approval" filter on a treasury dashboard
- Teams can see every AI session and preview, and jump into any branch to review changes as they happen
The pitch: let non-engineers ship real changes to production apps without breaking engineering workflows.
