Rather than trying to "prevent the Internet from existing," people should work on automating governance and checks on power: if agents can file 100 legitimate court cases a month, equip courts to prioritize and adjudicate them; if ministers mislead voters with complex legislation, equip the public to parse it. The core thesis: live with technological progress and strengthen democratic mechanisms with it.
