Google is shutting down Gemini's Gems, the feature that let users build task-specific agents, in favor of new 'skills', TechCrunch reports. As all-in-one AI agents like Meta's Muse and Instinct take off, Google is dropping bespoke agent-building for a more general skill-extension approach.
