Building evidence-backed sales deal recommendations on top of Hindsight agent memory

Vanilla LLMs give hollow sales advice ("send a follow-up email") because they lack episodic memory of meetings, objections, and failed tactics. The author's Precedent platform builds an agentic recommendation layer on the open-source Hindsight memory engine:
- Relational transaction layer: FastAPI + SQLAlchemy (SQLite) tracking deals, stages, values, stakeholders.
- External intelligence engine: scores competitor moves and macro events against the deal's industry and stage.
- Cognitive memory layer: Hindsight retains conversation summaries, stakeholder sentiments, deployed strategies, and outcome flags for recall.
- Agent orchestrator: compiles a DealIntelligenceBrief, pulls relevant memories, runs RiskAnalyst and NextBestAction agents, and merges deduplicated, evidence-backed next steps.
The goal: replace static CRM tracking with active strategic reasoning grounded in deal history.
