Sentry CEO Calls NVIDIA's 'Sentry' Observability Product 'Pretty Unprofessional' Amid Trademark Concerns

NVIDIA's newly spotted "Sentry the observability platform from NVIDIA" product has sparked a trademark dispute with the error-monitoring platform Sentry. Observers argued the name collision is about as clear-cut a trademark violation as it gets. Sentry founder zeeg responded that he's unsure whether it actually infringes on their mark, but noted the naming and trademark filings look suspicious — and at minimum, it's "pretty unprofessional from NVIDIA."
