Base44 launches Base Code, turning existing codebases into AI-powered team workspaces
omarsar0 · x · 2026-09-29
Base44 (a Wix company) launched Base Code, which connects an existing codebase to a shared cloud workspace. Any team member can describe a change in natural language; it runs on an isolated branch with a live preview and lands as a pull request for engineering review. A demo shows the AI surfacing pending-approval labels and filters on a treasury dashboard using existing data, while engineers keep control of every merge.
