Base44 launches Base Code: let your whole team build on your codebase

Base44 has launched Base Code, a product that turns an existing codebase into a shared team workspace: anyone describes a change, and the system automatically creates an isolated branch, runs the change, and generates a live preview, then submits a pull request for engineering to review and merge.
Key mechanics: after connecting an existing repo, every teammate can see all sessions and live previews, jump into any branch, and watch changes happen in real time, while engineering keeps control of every merge. A demo task—adding an 'awaiting second approval' label and filter to a treasury dashboard—shows the system noticing the approval state already existed on payment records and surfacing it instead of adding new fields.
