Base44 launched Base Code, turning an existing codebase into a shared cloud workspace. Any team member can describe a change; the AI runs it on an isolated branch with a live preview and opens a PR for engineers to review. In the demo, a natural-language request to surface pending second approvals correctly reused existing approval fields, producing amber labels, a filter, and a live needs-approval branch preview while engineering keeps merge control.
