Delta-0 humanoid robot starts generating its own experience via real-world RL
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-09-28
Tau Robotics' Delta-0 is a whole-body loco-manipulation humanoid foundation model that makes the Unitree G1 practical for continuous household tasks (a demo even shows the robot playing music for itself before doing chores — admittedly a staged setup). The key is a real-to-sim-to-real loop: robots autonomously execute tasks, retry after failures, and feed the resulting feedback back through real-world RL to keep improving the policy. It still relies on human data as a foundation, but the robot is now generating new experience itself — raising the question of who needs to keep supplying training data once a robot can act, fail, correct, and learn daily.
