Mila is hosting the EcoHull hackathon on October 26-27. Participants will use machine learning to model ship hull fouling progression and optimize the exact cleaning moment, with predictions directly reducing excess fuel consumption and the carbon footprint of maritime transport. Teams of 3-5 can register, or individuals can join a team, as part of Canada's blue economy.
